The third demo is just about done. We will be wrapping it up very soon. There are a few
songs left to do. At first we started with the idea that this one would be southern, but as
it turned out about only half of it is southern rock, and the other half is more acoustic
and melodic. We hope everyone enjoys. Be sure to join the Azmyth mailing list to
receive updates and maybe even previews of the new music.

We regret to inform you that we will not be playing in High Springs. Negotiations fell
through, and we decided not to do it. We are however planning a show within the next
month. This show will be open to the public, and will feature When Stars Fade, Azmyth,
and possibly some other great acts. We figured we would do this to make it up to people
who were looking forward to seeing us in High Springs. We will also be hitting up
Gainesville really soon!

a killer show. The showmanship was "phenomenal", as put to them by several members
of the audience. They ripped through songs such as "A-Train", "Just For Fun", and ripped
into "Rock N' Roll Disease" to end the show. They also played their annual Grad Bash in

Hello everybody, and thanks for visiting our official site! Friday night was awesome at
Freebird w/ Appetite For Destruction. Really got to hang with these dudes, and look forward
to keeping in touch with them. We turned around the next night and went to their show in
Gville, and it was awesome! Felt good and relaxing to be in the audience!

We are talking with people about doing some more shows, althought we cannot release all
the details. Our plan for the week is to head to Tampa a day and talk to some people, and
for the next few weeks, unless a show comes up, we will be in the studio recording
"Revolution". The next songs on our plates are "Strawberry" and "My Melody". After finishing
those, we will only have a handful to go before the CD is ready for mastering and such. We
are also looking forward to the Deland Original Music Festival, where we will finally get to
play for the fans and surrounding crowd there! We will let everyone know about TIX ASAP!
Well, that is it for now! See you soon!

version going on the compilation. When asked at Backstage Lounge on 11/18,
Tim Downey told me (Azmythmusic.com webmaster) that the first official single

recording would start this coming week. Stay tuned for updates!

AZMYTH ROCKS ORANGE SPRINGS FLORIDA / SEAN DITTO
JOINS BAND ONSTAGE FOR FIRST TIME IN 2 YEARS!
Azmyth jammed to a really well received crowd in Orange Springs, Fl, last night.
The band ripped through a setlist of 22 songs. The band opened with "The
Truth Is On Your Lips (From the upcoming Revolution album), ripped through
"Avenging John Tunstall" songs such as "Mrs. Maxwell", "We Don't Have To
Take It", "When I Talk", "Sex Like A Gun", and ripped through Azmyth classics
such as "My Melody", and "Sail Away". Longtime (former) bassist of the group
Sean Ditto joined the group during the song "My Melody", before ripping into the
covers "Mary Jane's Last Dance", and Chickenfoot's "Oh Yea". This marked the
first time in almost two years that the Azmyth brothers and Ditto have shared
the stage. The mid part of the set slowed down as the band took a short break
and Tim W. Downey Jr. serenaded the crowd with an acoustic version of "When
Don't Have To Take It" from Avenging John Tunstall. Downey then mentioned
what playing in Orange Springs meant to him, and told the crowd he "wanted to
put the small town on the map for good". The band then rejoined the stage for
another 30 minutes worth of music. After the show the band came back to do a
cover of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", much to the appreciation of
the crowd as the lighters came out in full force for the last song. After the show
as the back-lights came on Downey stayed on stage to once again tell the
crowd how much he "appreciated his community", how he was "proud to be
here", that he "wanted to put it on the map for good, and that he would "make
this a regular thing". Much to the bands disbelief the crowd that had gathered
had become bigger, and bigger, and Downey stated that due to the lighting he
could not see the crowd that gathered, and was pleasantly surprised as the
lights came on to how many people were there. The crowd then cheered and
the band left the stage. During the set the band also let the crowd sign
Downey's Acoustic guitar he had performed with.

For those wondering, Orange Springs is actually where Azmyth rehearses,
records, and  the city is home to "Blackdirt Studio IV".

As a member of the Azmyth staff, i would personally like to thank everyone who
showed up and made it a great show for the band. There will be more to come

AN OPEN LETTER TO EVERYONE FROM TIM W DOWNEY JR
Hello everyone!

Wow, where to begin. First, I would like to talk about the show last Saturday
Night here in our hometown. I personally want to thank everyone on behalf of
myself, and the rest of the band, for such a warm, positive reception. Playing
here was something I've always wanted to do, and never really knew how to go
about doing it, so to finally do it was a rush, and really made me feel so
appreciated. We needed that! It was a blast to be able to jam with Ditto again.
That was a long time coming, and was something we have been working on
for quite some time. I know a lot of people did not get it, but there were a lot of
people that i know wanted to see that. We will try to make it happen again
sometime in the near future. We are now recording revolution, and really trying
to capture the right sound. We are really taking time with it, and i appreciate
everyone's patience during our learning time. Recording the way we have, has
been a giant learning curve, but i am convinced that we will be giving you the
best sound we can from what we have. 2012 will be the ten year anniversary of
when i started doing music seriously, so i really want to go into the year with a
bang! We have a lot of plans, for a lot of big things next year, and are looking
forward to giving you 110% in everything we do! I just want to remind everyone
that we will be back in Gainesville, Fl, to wrap up the year at Backstage Lounge.
We hope to see you there. Thank you for all of your undying support. It means
the world to all of us, and you truly give us purpose in this world. Thank you!

PEACE, AND LOVE,
-Tim

TIM W DOWNEY JR RELEASE JOHN LENNON TRIBUTE!
FACEBOOK POST BELOW

in remembrance of his vision, impact, and outlook on life. Maybe one day we
can live in a world of peace and love worldwide, and forget each other's faults. I
was not alive when John Lennon was killed, but he has become one of my
primary influences in music, and in life. The world, and music has not been the
same since his passing, but he would be proud of all of us musicians, for
chasing our dreams, and spreading some sort of message, no matter what it
is. RIP JOHN LENNON 12/8/80

AZMYTH ANNOUNCES SHOW WITH SEAN DITTO. DETAILS OF
POSSIBLE SETLIST AND MORE! STATEMENT FROM TIM
DOWNEY ALSO.

Azmyth made it official Sunday that Sean Ditto would indeed be playing with the
band onstage for their outing on December 30th. The announcement comes
after a few meetings, and jam sessions between the Downey brothers and
Ditto. Last week, the Brothers and Ditto met at Blackdirt Studio© to talk more in
dept about the show. The band then rehearsed with Ditto Sunday for the first
time in two years. We are not allowed to project what the set-list might be, but
apparently the set-list will be Revolution, and Azmyth (Self Titled) favored, as
opposed to Avenging John Tunstall favored, as the majority of the 2011 shows
have been. There is rumored to be only one AJT song on the set-list. When
asked Monday (For an upcoming interview here on the site) What it was like to
rehearse with Ditto again, Tim W. Downey Jr. stated;

"
It was a breath of fresh air. So many of the players we have had come down try
to be so fancy right off the bat,  and jamming with Sean was simply a breath of
fresh air. Sean has a way of playing that is thick as hell, and it really fattened up
the sound a lot, and added a shit load of punch to the mix. I am looking forward
to the show, and hope it happens again really soon!"

We will update everyone on show details, and such as the details come.

TIM DOWNEY SAYS REUNION WITH DITTO HAS BEEN
INEVITABLE FOR A LONG TIME. ALSO TALKS "REVOLUTION"

Tim W. Downey Jr. stated in an upcoming video confessional that the Azmyth
(2009 Line-up + Alex Noles) reunion with Sean Ditto has been inevitable for a
long time. Here is a direct excerpt:

"The reunion with Ditto has been a long time coming. We have only been
talking again for the past few months, but there were many times over the past
two years that i thought about calling him, but didn't. I always had dreams it
happened, and wished it would, so i cannot be happier that it WILL happen. I
also hope it happens again in the near, near future. We always used Ditto as a
good example of what we wanted when trying new people out. His commitment,
showmanship, and musicianship fit us, our fans, and our message perfectly.
We are all getting along great, meshing well, having fun, and are good friends
again. I cherish that friendship with him, because we have the "Musical"
connection, and relate in life in general. I am proud to have him as my friend
again."

When asked about "Revolution" he then stated:

"We have toyed around with this CD a lot. I am working on some new things,
playing with old things, and really trying to capture the best sound. Recording
this CD has been epiphany after epiphany of things that were so blatantly
obvious, but i never realized. Everyone hasn't heard the real deal yet. All you
hear on our websites are the demos from it. I cannot wait for everyone to hear
the actual thing."

The video is probably going to be viewable within the next week. We will keep
everyone updated on everything!

REUNION SHOW SPARKS CENTRAL ENERGY OF AZMYTH!

First off, I apologize for the lack of updates because I have been out of town.

Friday marked the first time in two years that the Downey brothers, and Sean
Ditto had stepped on stage in two years. Alex Noles ripped it back on the guitar,
and it appeared that Azmyth had recaptured their energy from that era. The
band began the set with the lighting going down, and a rendition of "Pure Evil"
in which the flash bulbs erupted. The band then broke in to the '09 Azmyth
classic "Sail Away" in which the energy was raw, and reminiscent of 2009. A
few songs in Tim Downey asked the crowd "Who would like to see this again in
2012?", to which he looked at Sean Ditto and said "That sounds like a
welcome home to me", and Ditto replied "It sure does". The band blasted
through one of the most powerful sets i have heard them do in a while. The
night climaxed as Sean Ditto stepped up to the mic to sing the Chickenfoot
song "Oh Yeah", a song the band use to perform back in 09. The energy was
the most fun i have seen all of the guys having ever. The vibes from the whole
entire night were good from everybody. Ditto and Tim seemed to be having a lot
of fun together, and the chemistry between Alex, Tim, Sean, and Tyler on a
personal side of things was a very relieving, and created fresh auras. As the
Azmyth webmaster I must say that this show was truly the best i have ever seen
in my run of doing things for this band. It truly captured everyone that was
listening, and to the eyes it was a flashy display of what the band is truly
capable of. The band capped of the night with "My Melody" in which Ditto and
Noles hammered each other's guitars while Tim Downey, and Tyler Downey
ran crazy with the music in the bridge. The band was rumored to be doing an
encore of "Just For Fun" but due to time constraints they were not able to.

Below is the setlist from the reunion show:

1. Pure Evil
2. Sail Away
3. The Fountain
4. The Truth Is On Your Lips
5. Ain't Talkin Bout' Love (Van Halen)
6. Revolution
7. Mrs. Maxwell
8. Oh Yeah (Chickenfoot)
9. G.R.I.T.S.

"STRAWBERRY" TO BE FIRST SINGLE OFF OF REVOLUTION,
"COLD N' LONELY" TO FOLLOW!

Tim W. Downey Jr mentioned on the official Azmyth Facebook, as well as his

apparently yesterday, will be the first single off of Revolution. The band also
mentioned that "Cold N' Lonely" would also be following a few weeks after the
release of "Strawberry", as a second single. This will mark the first time the
band has released singles of any kind via Itunes and Amazon. I heard
Strawberry this morning, and was really surprised at how heavy, yet light the
song actually is. Its a good one! I will keep everyone posted!

Azmyth has wrapped up their recording sessions for "Revolution". The album

the music. This will be the band's eighth studio album, and third official
release. The single "Strawberry" is expected to hit the market within the next
two weeks, and "Cold N' Lonely" is expected to follow a few weeks after. Below
is a track-listing off the album. I am told this COULD change but probably won't.

OFFICIALLY!

The band made an official announcement via Facebook last night that Sean
Ditto is indeed back full time in Azmyth on the bass guitar.  Ditto was a huge

to Downey's writing style. It is now official, the lineup is now Downey, Ditto, Alex,

AZMYTH HITS 20,000 FACEBOOK FANS!

Azmyth has finally hit the landmark of 20,000 facebook fans on their facebook
fanpage. Below is a messageg from Tim W. Downey Jr. about this mile-stone

Hello everyone,

It is with great pride and satisfaction that I announce that we have hit a
mile-stone. I woke up this morning to a phone from our webmaster telling me
that we had hit that much anticipated mark. I first off want to thank the fans.
Without you spreading the word, we would be nothing. You guys and gals are
the reason i wake up every day, and the reason that I feel as if i was put here on
earth to make music. I owe it all to you all. You will never be forgotten, and your
support is what drives us to try to out do ourselves every time we set foot on a
stage. It makes it all worth it. Being a musician is NOT easy, but when you have
such a great deal of support from people, it makes you look past any negative
that seems to come your way.  I wake up every day and thank God for you all. I
would also like to thank the band. Without Sean, Tyler, and Alex, this all would
have never been possible. These guys put up with a rigorous schedule, and it
is all greatly appreciated. I hate to use the word fans, as i feel you are all my
family, and a huge part of me. Excuse all the mushy stuff haha. Now lets have a
good 2012, and rock every joint we play!! This year is for you!!!!

With Love,
Tim W. Downey Jr.

TIM W DOWNEY JR AND SEAN DITTO PERFORM HEARTFELT
COVER AT FUNERAL

Sean Ditto, and Tim W. Downey Jr. performed Sevendust's "Angel's Son"
yesterday at Ditto's grandfather's funeral. Sean lost his grandfather last
Wednesday, and still managed to perform last Saturday at the 6:8 Ministries
Rock N' Raise. The  heartfelt performance was truly beautiful. Tim W. Downey
Jr. spoke with us about it and had this to say.

"I feel for Ditto's family as if they were my own. I know how close Sean and his
grandfather where, so I was honored when Sean asked me to accompany him
in a performance for his grandpa. It was truly an honor that I will never forget"

Below is a picture of the two performing.
